The company NighTec® GmbH & Co. KG in Bonn (Germany) produces innovative, photoluminescent (noctilucent and fluorescent) products, semifinished products and raw materials for industry and trade. Primarily, NighTec® produces granulates, powders, liquids, pastes and compounds (injection molding), with which NighTec® customers then fabricate noctilucent products for the consumers and for the trade, for instance noctilucent PVC floorings, paving stones, light switches, clothes, and much more.
Manufacturing accords with German industrial standards and quality standards. Our developments cover the entire chain from the manufacturing and optimization of the photoluminescent pigments up to the final process optimization at the client. The main focus is currently building materials, paints and lacquers, granulates and foils. This working principle allows NighTec® to supply its customers and partners efficiently and target-oriented; the semifinished products can be easily, smoothly and directly integrated into each manufacturing process.
NighTec®: Nearly unlimited application ranges
NighTec® products offer nearly unlimited applications in the safety and disaster control sectors as well as in both objects for everyday use, design objects and advertising media. Almost any material can be used, for example ceramics, glass, paper, plastics or resins. NighTec® partners offer a great variety of products for the do-it-yourself markets and for crafts and commercial construction.
National and international standards are exceeded many times over. The luminosity of NighTec® products is many times higher and lasts longer. NighTec® articles are free of radioactivity, phosphorous and other toxins. Last but not least, the use of non-electric light saves costs and energy – and provides, for example, architects design-friendly, uncomplicated opportunities.

One of our tasks and goals is to optimize our industrial customers' products through our noctilucent and fluorescent products in a manner that lets these customers, with their versatile consumer products, make a major contribution to the alternative energy mix, which reduces the consumption of resources, especially electricity. On top of that, the use of our products makes the world a safer place for every single user and increases the quality of life.
Energy can be actively saved by using NighTec® products. In this connection, you could think, for example, about public and private buildings. Painting their walls and ceilings with a NighTec® wall or ceiling paint, for instance, facilitates orientation in the room even though it is dark because this alternative light source allows sufficient vision. We would like to mention another good example for more safety and quality of life: barrier-free living, where a great number of our products are being used.
